The following DNS server addresses are set:
209.18.47.62 and 209.18.47.61 which are related to "Charter Communications Inc". Does that ring a bell ?

It looks like Windows 10 license validation fails. That should not happen when the upgrade from Windows 7 went successful.
However this might be related to the issues with this machine right now.

Please do following:
  • Rightclick the Start button and select Run.
  • Typ ncpa.cpl and click OK.
  • The control panel for network connections opens.
  • Take a screenshot and post it in your next reply.

No idea how this Charter Communications exists on this laptop, unless, could it be because I do have internet service from Spectrum, which is the broadband service offered by Charter Communication?
Could it be that?
Or perhaps from the previous owner?

Would you suggest I contact the seller regarding this?
Should I contact them about the Windows 10 license validation fail?

Maybe, did you need to install something on this machine to be able to use the internet service from Spectrum ?
Do you have another Windows machine that also uses Spectrum, to compare the DNS settings with ?

In your screenshot, right-click the Wi-Fi connection and select Properties.
A new window will open. Post a screenshot of that.
