Suite (arranged by myself) of the Academy Award-nominated score to Gone With the Wind (1939). Composed by Max Steiner, at the time of its release it was the longest film score ever written (nearly 3 hours long). The versions used in this suite are from a 1973 recording by the National Philharmonic Orchestra, conducted by Charles Gerhardt. Part of the series "The Sound of Cinema".
